The first city selected for CUMI WORLD is Ludhianain Punjab State. Ludhianatown is known for small-scale industry user segments like Cycles and cycle parts, Auto ancillaries, Sewing machines, Hand tools.

New Applications

  • When a new applicant comes, the administration and reception in-charge will explain the rules and regulations of CUMI WORLD to him.

  • If the applicant requires more information about CUMI WORLD thenthe administration and reception in-charge will arrange for a talk between the applicant and the center head.

  • The administration in-charge will help the applicant fill the application form.

  • She will inform the applicant about CUMI Surakshaand take necessary information to fill out the policy form.

  • She will collect the membership fee, details and photographs required from the applicant.

  • All the details will be entered into the members’ database.

  • She will issue a membership identity card to the member.

  • The member will be informed about the schedule of programme, relevant to his field, in the coming month.

Membership

Who can be a member?

  • Individual who is an actual user and is in the selected trade orwants to be in the selected trade.

  • Individual must get a reference from:

    • Existing member

    • CUMI employee

    • CUMI dealer/sub-dealer

    • CUMI customer

    • Membership fee for CUMI WORLD is RS. 25/-

    • This fee is valid for a period of one year.

  • Membership is subject to signing an agreement of good behaviour. Any member who violates this will automatically lose the membership. In addition CUMI WORLD will have the right to recover any damages from the terminated member.

Benefits to Members

  • Member gets two programmes per month

  • Can visit the center during working hours to use the following facilities:

  • Gets a membership card that allows him an identity

  • Every member will be covered by a CUMI SURAKSHA policy against accidents.

  • Can participate in knowledge enhancement / ideas programme.

  • Can participate in the job change / new job programme.

  • Will be available for the trade referral programme.

Renewal of Membership

  • The membership to CUMI WORLD is of one-year duration, after which the membership will have to be renewed against a payment of Rs. 25/-

  • Renewal of membership will be subject to participation and usage of CUMI WORLD facilities

Loss of Membership

  • In case of non-renewal of the membership, the membership status will be lost.

  • Bad conduct or damage to CUMI WORLD property will lead to loss of membership.

Loss of membership implies that the person cannot have access to the premises and facilities of CUMI WORLD.

The CUMI SURAKSHA policy of the individual will be withdrawn.

Conducting Training Sessions

  • When the members come for a training programme, the administration in-charge will mark attendance of the members for record, and direct them to sit in the lecture room.

  • Center head/instructor will be present in the lecture room and interact with them before presentation. The interaction could beabout CUMI WORLD, grinding technology, their experiences or queries.

  • Center head will ensure that the participants maintain decorum.

  • Center head will ensure that the instructor is present for the lecture.

  • The instructor will take over and give the lecture and presentation of the training module in details as desired by the members.

  • At the end of the programmethe participants will be informed about the scheduled date of the next training programme.

After the lecture the participants will be taken to the training lab where they:

  • Learn how to mount a grinding wheel

  • Trial of new CUMI products

  • Learn safety practices to be undertaken while grinding.

Programmesare conducted for

TSDC -Customer Training

  • Duration ranges from 1 day to 10 days depending upon the product

  • Service team & Business development team prepare the module

  • Specialized or advanced training on request is available

  • Monthly training schedule is distributed through the sales offices

  • Batch size ranges from 10-20 people

  • Literature on the entire training programmeis provided

  • Fee is Rs1150/-to Rs1850/-per day according to the course
